How to use KeePass?
After Installation of KeyPass, launch the application from Start Menu. Click on ‘New’ to create new database of your account names, usernames and passwords.
The application then saves the database in the predefined location and prompts you for a strong Master Composite password. The Password strength indicator (Estimated Quality Bar) shows how powerful the set password is. The password can be made strongest by having multiple symbols, both capital and small letters, and numbers. Then just select OK below, which closes the prompt window.

The New Window now will show you two examples of stored passwords; they are only for example but give a feel of how the stored passwords appear in the application along with the username and other notes.

The user can right click on the particular account and select copy username. The username will be copied to clipboard. The username can now be pasted into the username field of the website (Gmail for example, Gmail password was stored in that way). Similarly copy the password by right clicking and selecting ‘copy password’. Now, the password can be pasted in the same way. It is made very simple.
To add new entries into the database please right click anywhere on the account creation window and select ‘add entry’ in the available options as shown in the figure. The new window prompts to add username, password, notes and other info which can be added quickly and finally click on OK to confirm the addition of new account. The new account will be added to the database.
